A New Era

Hey fabulous darlings and even though I am like over a month late HAPPY NEW YEAR. I am proud to announce that I have moved to Cape Town so that it will that we will take things to another level. We will start with the SA Menswear week which will be held at the V & A Waterfront this Saturday.

I am personally very much excited that I will be attending the event. It would be the first time I would be at a nationally celebrated fashion event. I promise to update you with a review of the event. The designers that will be showcasing their work includes Quiteria which was part of the duo that dressed Beyonce during the Global Citizen extravaganza. The list also features notable brands such as Sergeant Pepper Clothing.

The event is also the start of the Cape Town fashion social scene which promises to be quite exciting this year. I promise to bring you a front-row to the events that I will be attending. This year we will bring you more reviews and entertainment news than we have ever done. We hope you have a great year. Please find the official schedule for the Menswear week.

The Fergusons vs Former Employees

Hey guys so this is a story I have been wanting to cover on the blog but I had a feeling that I should wait because I knew it was gonna be taken to another level. The drama started with Vatiswa Ndara publishing an open letter where she states that she and the rest of the cast wanted to submit Igazi  for the international Emmys. The open letter included correspondence between Vatiswa and the office of the minister of Arts & Culture, Nathi Mthetwa where Ms Ndara requested for funding to submit nominations for Igaz i. The office responded that unfortunately they could not allocate the requested funds.
