We might be living in a time where unfortunately we cannot gather in public spaces but as they say in show business the show must go on. This is what happened last night as the National Film and Video foundation with the guidance of the Department of Arts & Culture, held a virtual award ceremony which was hosted by the talented Dineo Ranaka. I must say I was rather not pleased with the delayed start, but this can be excused as we have never had to host an awards show in such a manner. The biggest winner of the night was Knuckle City in terms of the awards related to the motion picture category. The feature film is centered around the relationship between a boxer and his deviant brother as they take one more shot at the big time. The night's other big winner was The River which is produced by Tshedza Pictures. The popular telenovela took home 10 awards ,whilst its sister show The Republic took a whopping seven awards which include the coveted Best TV Drama gong. The Ri
