The revolution is here!!!

I was browsing through the latest issue of the South African Glamour Magazine and I actually noticed that the majority of the models that were featured in the publication were black models. This is a fact that is significant in an industry where representation has become a very sensitive topic. This change has come about after the appointment of Asanda Sizani as the editor in chief of the publication. This itself was groundbreaking as she is the first black editor of this particular international magazine. Asanda Sizani is no stranger in the fashion media industry. The fashion revolutionary hails from the Eastern Cape and pursued her education in fashion at Cape Peninsula University of Technology.  The impressive credentials that are synonymous with her name have built her legacy within the South African media and fashion industry.  I was specifically impressed by the manner that she changed everything about the magazine from the layout to the models that are featured in the mag
